To do this, just head over to canva.com and sign in to your account and click on the “Create a Design” button from the top right corner, and then select the artboard size according to your needs.

You can also choose Custom Size if you want to enter custom dimensions for your canvas.

Step 2: Add a Text Box/Layer In Canva

The second step is to add your text on your canva document which you want to curve out.

To do this just click on the text icon from the left sidebar and choose the text size of your need.

So to add a curve effect to your text layer, you have to first select the text layer that you want to curve. You can do this by clicking on it with your mouse.

As soon as you click the text layer you will see a blue box around it, indicating that it is now selected.

Once you have the layer selected and the blue box appears around it, click on “Effects” from the top menu.

When you click on the effects button, you will see a new sidebar on the left side with various options to select from.

We have to ignore all of them and select the curve options under the shape section.

As soon as you click on a curve, you will see that your text will automatically get a curved shape.

So after getting the curved text you can play with the curve settings from the left sidebar to adjust the curve amount.

Just drag the curve bar left and right until you are satisfied with the curve.
