Step 1. Create Or Open Your Canva Presentation
The first step is to create your canva presentation or open up a pre-existing presentation inside canva.
In order to open your presentation inside canva you have to log in to your canva account using your username and password and after login in on the homepage itself you’ll see your recent designs, just click on your presentation and open it up in the canva editor.
Step 2: Download The Presentation as Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT)
So what you usually do to download a design from canva is you click on the “Share” button from the top right corner and then click on the “Download” button, choose your file type, and download your design.
But you cannot download your design in PPT format by following this method.
So how can you download your canva presentation as PPT?
Well first, click on the “Share” button from the top right corner as you always do but instead of clicking the “Download” button you have to click on the “More” button.

So now you know how to save the canva presentation as ppt but what if you want to save the canva presentation as Google slides in your google drive?
Is it possible?
It definitely is, just follows these simple steps.
Step 1: Open The Canva Presentation
Login to your canva account and select the canva presentation that you would like to save as a google slide in your google drive.
Step 2: Connect Your Google Drive
Ffter opening your canva presentation, click on the “Share” button from the top right corner and then click on “More”.
Now search for “Google Drive” and click on that.
It will ask you to connect your Google Drive account to canva, just do it.
Note: If you already have a google drive account connected to canva you may not see this option and you can move directly to the next step.
Step 3: Select Your Google Drive Folder
When you finished connecting your Google Drive account, it will show your google drive folders over there, select any folder where you want to save your canva presentation.
Step 4: Choose File Type as Microsoft PowerPoint Document & Save

Unfortunately, it is not possible to export the presentation from canva as a PPT by retaining all the animations you have created inside canva.
Why?
Because both canva and Microsoft PowerPoint are different software/tools owned by different companies, the way canva does animations in their platform is completely different from PowerPoint.
That means whatever animations you have done inside canva are not supported by PowerPoint and hence will not work.
