How To Loop Video In Canva (4 Easy Steps!)

Below are the steps that you can follow to learn how to loop videos in Canva:

1. Open Video Design Type

Login or signup to Canva to get directed to your Canva dashboard. Then from the top right corner of the Canva homepage, click on the ‘Create a Design’ button.

As a result of this, a menu of various design types will open in front of you like presentations, banners, documents, etc.

From the top search bar, search for the “Video” keyword, and then click on the “Video” template to open a blank video Canvas.

2. Add a Video

Ok, so now you have your blank video template in front of you, it is time to add a video to your canvas.

If you want to add a Canva stock Video, then click on the ‘Apps’ button from the left sidebar and then on the ‘Videos’ button.

As a result of which, you will get access to Canva’s premade library of stock videos.

You can either scroll down the options or use the search bar to search for your specific video.

For example, I wanted to add a travel video to my design.

So I searched for ‘Travel’ from the top search bar.

Once you find a video that you like the most, click on it to add it to your design.

Or if you want to upload your own video to Canva, then click on the ‘Uploads’ button from the left sidebar and then on the ‘Upload Files’ button to select the file from your computer.

Once the video is uploaded, drag and drop it onto your blank canvas.

After adding a video to your design, you can also use the resizing handles to make the video smaller or larger in size.

To make the video larger in size, drag the corners of the boundary box away from the video and if you wish to make the video smaller in size then drag the corners closer to the video.

3. Loop The Video

After adding and resizing the video, it is time to learn how to loop the video in Canva.

There are two ways to loop a video in Canva. Let’s have a look at each of them below:

a) Loop Forever Option

Click on the video ones, as a result of which a top toolbar will appear in front of you.

Click on the ‘Playback’ button from the top toolbar and a new menu will open with various video playback settings.

From the video playback settings, click on the ‘Loop Forever In Presentation’ button to play your video continuously on the loop.

b) Duplicate The Video

The second option is to duplicate the existing video to create a loop effect in Canva.

Click on the page from the bottom of the screen, as a result of which a ‘3 Dots’ icon will appear in the top right corner.

Click on the ‘3 Dots’ icon to open a new menu in front of you. From the new menu, click on the ‘Duplicate Page’ button.

Or simply use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + D. Now you will able to see two similar pages on the bottom of the screen.

Repeat the same process as many times as you want to create a perfect loop video.

4. Download Your Looped Video/Presentation

After creating a loop video, it is time to save your design to your computer.

Click on the ‘Share button’ from the top right corner of the screen, and then on the ‘Download’ button.

Set your file type to ‘MP4 Video’ from the download settings and then click on the ‘Download’ button again at the end to start the downloading process.

How Do I Change Video Settings in Canva?

You can easily change video settings in Canva, just click on it once and a top toolbar will appear in front of you. Now you can change the video settings by clicking on the playback, crop, flip, volume, etc buttons from the top toolbar.

To change the contrast, brightness, warmth, etc of the video, click on the ‘Edit Video’ button from the top toolbar and then on the ‘Adjust’ button. To apply a change, simply drag the slider of your desired adjustment from left to right.

How Do You Fast Forward a Video In Canva?

You can fast-forward a video in Canva in just a few clicks. Firstly, click on the video ones to get access to the top toolbar. Then click on the ‘Playback’ button from the top toolbar, as a result of which video playback settings will open in front of you.

Drag the slider of the ‘Video Speed’ setting towards the right side to increase the speed or fast-forward a video in Canva.
