How To Make a Gang Sheet In Canva

Below are the steps that you can follow to make a gang sheet in Canva:

1. Open Custom Design

Go to the Canva website and then from the Canva homepage, click on the ‘Create a Design’ button from the top right corner.

Then click on the ‘Custom Size’ button from the left bottom corner of the new menu.

Now Canva will ask you to enter custom dimensions for your design.

Note: For this tutorial, I will be taking 22 x 24 In dimensions.

After entering your dimensions (width and height), Click on the ‘Create New Design’ button at the bottom to get directed to a blank canvas.

2. Upload Your Graphics

After getting directed to the blank canvas, it is time to upload all the graphics that you want in your gang sheet to Canva.

Click on the ‘Uploads’ button from the left sidebar and then on the ‘Uploads Files’ button. Now select the image that you want to upload from your computer.

Once the image is uploaded, it will be shown under your upload library.

Note: follow the same process repeatedly to upload as many images as you want to add to your gang sheet.

3. Create a Gang Sheet

Once you have all your images in your upload library, it is time to arrange them to form a gang sheet.

Start by clicking on one image to add it to your design. Then double-click it to crop all the empty spaces around your graphic.

After double-clicking on the image, you will get a boundary box around it. Now drag the corners of the boundary box closer to the image to cut all the empty spaces.

Crop all the empty spaces till the edges of your graphics are touching the lines of your boundary box. And then click anywhere on the screen to get the design back to normal.

Cropping the empty spaces of the images is very important to get the exact measurement of the graphic.

Now drag one corner of the image outwards or inwards to make your image bigger or smaller in size.

While dragging the image, you will see a black box showing you the measurement of the image.

For example, I want an image with a width:12. So, I will drag the image inwards until I get the w: 12 measurements on the black box.

After resizing the image at your convenience, now drag the image to its respective position.

If you are placing the image on the corner of the gang sheet, like me then make sure to leave some space at the boundaries.

But what if an image is too big to fit horizontally in a place?

Then use the ‘Rotate’ icon from the bottom of the image to rotate it vertically and then drag it to the respective place.

Note: Follow the same process to add, crop, resize and then arrange all the images on your gang sheet.

4. Export Your Design

Once you are done making your gang sheet, click on the ‘Share’ button from the right top corner of the screen and on the ‘Download’ button to open the download settings.

Now set your file type to PNG and then drag the ‘Size’ slider all the way towards the right-hand side.

Then check the ‘Transparent Background‘ box and lastly click on ‘Download‘ at the end.
