So in terms of features, eRank is the clear winner.
2. Pricing
eRank comes with 3 different monthly plans :
- Basic Plan: $5.99/Mo
- Pro Plan: $9.99/Mo
- Expert: $29.99/Mo
and it also comes with a trial plan, so you can actually have a taste of the tool before actually purchasing any of their plan.
However, in Marmalead, we do not have any trial plan and they only have 1 paid plan which is $19/Mo.
So again, eRank is the winner here in terms of pricing, I mean you can easily get the eRank pro plan with almost half of the amount for Marmalead.
3. UI & Ease Of Use
eRank is very advanced tool with lot of stuff going on, their dashboard and tools are kinda complicated, if you are a newbie, you are going to have a hard time with eRAnk in the beginning.
Let me give you an example, eRank has 2 different keyword research tools, now it is going to be really hard for new sellers to find out which keyword research tool they should use for their shop.
He can easily get confused, but I think once you spend some time with eRank, you will get used to it and things will start making sense.

Well I am using eRank for a year now and I can say they have got the best support in the world, even the founder Anthony Wolf is such a nice and humble person.
You can blindly trust these guys, trust me you won’t regret it.
I have never talked to marmalead support but one of my friends is using this tool for her crochet shop and she said marmalead also have a great support staff.
They got a small but friendly community.
So I guess both the tools provide great support so it’s a tye here.
5. Popularity
In terms of popularity, according to similarweb, I guess eRank got around 1.6 million monthly viewers while marmalead got around 200k monthly viewers.
Now there is a huge gap between monthly viewership but marmalead is more socially active if compared with eRank.
They got around 4,300 followers on their official twitter account and they regularly tweet helpful stuff over there.
They also have a Facebook page with around 12000 likes.
Not only this, they do have a youtube channel as well where they got around 10,000 subscribers and they try to post new videos every single month.
It’s good to see that they are not just a tool, they are trying to build a family, a community around their tool.
So I guess I have explained to you a lot, eRank is stronger if we talk about monthly viewership but the marmalead social game is on the next level.

To be honest it totally depends upon your requirements and what type of person you are.
Do you prefer multiple features under one roof or do you want a sweet and simple keyword research tool?
If I talk about myself, I am a techy guy, I want to have loads of features under one roof, and UI and social presence don’t actually matter to me.
I just want a tool where I can do everything I want related to Etsy and if I get stuck I want quick responses from support staff so that’s why i will always choose eRank over Marmalead.
Also, eRank is way cheaper than marmalead, I mean their pro plan is just $9.9/Mo.
